Many hunters wonder what is the best seed they can plant to draw in some deer during the hunting season. Although deer are browsers, and eat a little of everything, they absolutely can\'t resist oats. What will draw in fall deer better than anything else? My answer (for where I hunt) is...OATS!!! There is a lot of debate around differences in seed and outcomes with deer. I\'ve tried most all the seed brands and they are all very good but some are much more expensive than others. Brands like Buck Forage Oats have done a lot of research and development producing one of the most trusted brands of oats in the industry. Others such as Whitetail Institute have developed Oats Plus which they claim is so attractive it was removed from university grain-production trials and shelved due to heavy grazing by deer! I learned from an old timer years ago that he planted Tractor Supply Feed Oats at the cost of $13 for 50lb bag! I decided to try it one year and never saw so many deer in my food plots before. It\'s still the same today! There may be advantages to the expensive brands of oats but my years of experience with Tractor Supply oats proves that deer love them too. Thanks for watching!
